Eligibility Criteria
a). Age (For All Courses) :
- Candidates should be above 18 years of age (as of 15th June of the year of joining the Program). Further, although candidates should ideally be around 21-22 years old (as of 15th June of the year of their joining the Program). CCHMS does not assign any upper age limit in keeping with its Philosophy “ITS NEVER TOO LATE TO START LEARNING.”
b). Educational Qualifications :
- FOR CERTIFICATE COURSES : Minimum eligibility 10th pass
- FOR DIPLOMA COURSES : Candidates should have passed their XII th Std. exam from a recognized Board.
- FOR THE 3 YEARS COURSE : Clear pass in class XII th (as on 15th June of the year of joining), from a Board recognized by IGNOU New Delhi. The Program also requires a Class Xth English Score of 70% or above. The equivalent of this in CBSE is B2 Grade or a 7 Grade point or above.
c). Qualitative Requirements (For All Courses):
- Should –
- Be smart , energetic and have a pleasant & affable personality.
- Be clear as to why he/she wants to enter the Industry.
- Have a PASSION for the SERVICE INDUSTRY, AND Respect for “DIGNITY OF LABOUR.”
- Be ready to put in LONG HOURS AT WORK in their careers.
- Possess good Communication Skills, incl. PREFERABLY English Language as well.
Note :
- While academic qualifications are an important criteria, CCHMS regards personality, maturity, aptitude & high motivational levels as being equally important.
Admission/ Registration Process
The applicant, after going through this E-Prospectus, and understanding the requirements of the course, can enroll as under :
1). Students should register online OR visit the CCHMS office at the Clarks Hotel, fill up the "Provisional Admission/Registration Form" and submit with the requisite enclosures.
2). This will be followed by Assessments & interviews at CCHMS.
3).
After the Final Personal interviews of the short-listed candidates, the results would be declared , and the selected students would start off in the Program after completing the requisite pre-joining formalities.
Note : Since the courses are based on intensive learning patterns and Hotel industrial needs, requiring focused & motivated learners, CCHMS reserves the right to admit students, on the basis of overall assessment of personality, attitude, motivational & enthusiasm levels, apart from intellect, grasping abilities and suitability for the hospitality industry.
